A special event to mark the 20th anniversary of the Institute of Public Administration was held on September 23^rd  at the IPA’s training base in Bankya. Guests of the event were long-term lecturers and former IPA employees, who over the years have made a significant contribution to its establishment and development.

The Institute of Public Administration organized the annual competition for good practices and innovations in the Bulgarian public administration in 2019. This year 40 organizations from different levels of administration (ministries, agencies and municipalities) took part in the competition presenting their good practices.

The competition is held in three key categories - Human Resources Management, Technological Solutions for Open Government and Social Responsibility.

The First Annual Meeting of Bulgarian CAF Users, organized by the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), was held on February 27, 2020 in Hissarya town. It was attended by 80 civil servants - representatives of various Bulgarian administrations applying CAF model. They shared their practical experience and “lessons learned” about the implementation of CAF model in their institutions. CAF consultants and trainers to the National CAF Resource Center/IPA took part in the discussion on important issues of the process of CAF implementation into Bulgarian administration.
