Impact assessment conference – what can we do better

The Institute of Public Administration is organizing an international conference on the topic of  "Impact assessment – what can we do better?" The event will be held on the 26th and 27th of April in Sofia.

8th CAF Users Event

On the 12th of april the Institute of public administration is hosting the 8th CAF Users event. It will be held at Boyana residency  and 150 participants from the public sector in Europe that are using CAF model as a quality management tool are expected to take part in the meeting.

The event is part of the calendar of the Bulgarian presidency of the council of EU.

CAF Improvement identification, prioritisation and implementation
Description

This new study is broadening the scope to organisations of the whole public sector and describing in detail the different good practices that were installed in 20 organisations from 13 different countries. The self-assessment of public sector organisations, using the TQM mirror of the CAF, indicates strengths of the organisations in the field of 28 sub-criteria as well as areas of improvement.

Over the years, the CAF has evolved and grown to become the well‐known quality model for the public sector that it is today. Considering the evolution of the CAF since the previous CAF study in 2005 and the last improvement of the CAF in 2006, the CAF Expert Group felt it was time to reflect on the use of the CAF in order to prepare its future. In the introduction we will discuss the evolution of the CAF, the structure of the CAF network and the purpose and scope of this study.
